Spyderco Vallotton
Description
His collaboration with Spyderco called the Vallotton Sub Hilt Folder features an ambidextrous thumb stud that both opens the blade (in addition to the Spyderco Round Hole) and doubles as a stop pin keeping the blade from rotating open beyond the locked position.
A long time fan of Italian-style, heavy-stock folders the Sub-Hilt bears an international flavor with a modified coffin-shaped handle of polished black G-10 with tongue-and-groove fitted stainless bolsters. Further complementing the handle is a Michael Walker LinerLock® a four-way: tip-up/tip- down, right- or left-handed steel clip and screw- together scale construction.
Crucible Steel Inc. of New York produces the CPM- S30V powdered steel used for the modified Tanto- shaped blade. The blade is hollow-ground at the cutting edge with a convex-grind at the tip and is offered PlainEdged for the best available cutting performance.

good size, flips well, beautifully made.
I dont think I will ever actually cut anything with it or like the other reviewer says: Buy two.

It is beautifully put together with no flaws. The blade deploys smooth and fast then locks solidly into place. The grind is really impressive, a hollow grind until you get to the tip which is left thicker for extra strength. As I expect with Spyderco the edge is extremely sharp. The g10 scales are polished and have a wood like look to them, though smooth they are still grippy. The shape and thickness of the handle gives me plenty to hold on to however I grip it.
I feel like I should be well dressed to carry this classy blade. (Posted on 31 October 2013)

I wasn't sure at first and think it's a knife that needs a hands on to really understand it.
It's unique in looks for a Spyderco fnf are spot on.
A beast of a blade with tight G10 scales and bolsters, make it a very attractive knife.
If you are going to buy this I'd get two if you plan on using it.
It's so pretty that you'll want one for the collection and a user.
As always flawless service from HH thanks guys. Cc (Posted on 7 February 2013)
