Description
Rough Rider's Premium Select range offers a real element of luxury to some classic, favourite penknife formats.
In this case the Stockman has received the Premium Select treatment. The handle scales are made from a mix of Buffalo horn with a black pearl and abalone inlay creating a very appealing effect guaranteed to turn heads. Adding to this visual treat is the file worked back spine.
It's a practical knife too with three mirror finished blades; one clip, one sheepsfoot and one spey depending on mood and job requirements.

An excellent knife for the price, indeed it would be good at twice the price. The fit and finish is very good. Not at GEC standard but it is not anywhere near GEC prices. The fret work on the back spring is excellent. The blades are all very nicely ground. There is a nice long pull on the main blade. It came fairly sharp but I have not sharpened it yet. The blades do not snap closed like they tend to on more expensive knives. For the price this has to be one of the best value slip joints available. I know cheaper knives tend not to be consistent in quality and I may just have got lucky with a good one, but I can only go off what I see and what I see is excellent.
