This is make from nickel plated brass rather than the stainless steel specified but will nevertheless last a lifetime. Worth every penny. The tube is big enough for matches, sewing kit and some fishing bits if your into that side of thing.
The construction in my opinion cant be faulted, I know you can get those Gucci, go faster bombproof match safes. But for the cash, the feel and the usability its just brilliant.

I've had one of these match boxes for over 30 years and it's been on many journeys in the wild. This design was recommended in Calvin Rustrum's classic books 'The New Way of the Wilderness' and 'Paradise Below Zero' and dates from the old timer days.
