Description
The Deva Skanda Friction Folder is a very handy folding knife that uses downward thumb pressure on the extended tang to stop the blade closing during use. It is a simple but highly effective design that due to its make up is legal to carry within the UK.
The quality is right up there too. The blade is AUS 8 stainless steel which is a high grade Japanese material. The handle is one piece of wood with a channel carved down the centre to accommodate the blade in the closed position. There is a choice of either Beech or Formosan wood. It is supplied with a leather pouch.

Got one of these early. Very happy. Stupid sharp, elegant, feels great in my hand. Sliced up a lot of old envelopes for the hell of it. Pivot might be a bit loose for some but I quite like whipping it open when I need it, and the tang keeps it safe when using. (Posted on 16 July 2019)Rating
