Description
The Subcom All Black is made by Boker Plus, a division of Boker Knives. It is a very original and pleasing design with a FRN (Fibre glass Reinforced Nylon) handle with a frame lock mechanism and stainless pocket clip. The blade is high quality, black coated, stainless steel that clicks into it`s locking position very securely and opens with one hand via the ambidextrous thumb studs. The Zytel handle construction makes it very durable and hard working.

This knife is a cracking EDC. The blade is extremely sharp and cuts well. The design is second to none and holds very comfortably despite its small size. I immediately added this knife to a small keyring to use on a carabiner at work for opening boxes. Whilst the knife edge and design is first class (I cant state that enough) the circle for adding the ring goes through both sides of the grip - so it'ss difficult to add smaller attachment rings, thus resulting in that great black finish being scratched.Rating
But if you look past that cosmetic issue and if you need something small, easy to use and reliable then look no further! (Posted on 26 September 2009)
